Dr Gurlé’s Bio- French Doctor
Dr. Gurlé attended medical school at Lariboisiere Saint Louis in Paris. After finishing medical school she was accepted in the Family Practice Residency Program at the University of Nice. She then graduated as a Medical Doctor in 1993, and her first job was in a private practice in Cannes, France.
She was then recruited by Hospital Princess Grace in Monaco, a small country between France and Italy, to work in the Emergency Room as an attending physician. While working in the emergency room she learned to quickly diagnose a wide range of medical conditions. She was also responsible for on-site interventions as a first responder physician.
Dr. Gurlé and her family then moved to the US where she successfully passed the ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) exam. Then, she was accepted into the Internal Medicine Residency program in Summit, New Jersey (affiliated to UMDNJ). She received her American Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 2007.
A short while after, she moved to Singapore where she obtained a position as a faculty practitioner in General Medicine in Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Her typical day would usually combine taking care of her patients in the hospital while also teaching her medical students and residents.
Dr.Gurlé worked as a volunteer at Rotacare free clinic in Moutain View for several years .
During her career, Dr. Gurlé has had the privilege of practicing Medicine in three different countries (France, Singapore and US), all with unique cultures and different expectations. She is planning to bring all of her experience together and her passion for science to provide the best medical care possible at Total Care Practice.
